We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at Nuvance Health Med Practice CT as a Medical Office LPN-Primary Care Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge and terminology, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and physician assistants in providing primary medical care to patients, including preparing materials and supplies, obtaining patient history and vital signs, and providing direct patient care.
- Collect and analyze patient specimens, instruct patients on preventive care and medication management, and contact patients to provide follow-up and test results.
- Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve the Practice's and WCMG's missions through quality improvement initiatives.
- Complete all meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology
- Computer skills and data entry experience
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals and BLS certification
- Vaccine administration and medication preparation experience
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience
- Successful completion of medical scribing within probationary period
