Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the 5 West Acute Care Neuroscience unit. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex neurological disorders and medical-surgical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered care and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
Work Environment

The 5 West Acute Care Neuroscience unit is a 30-bed unit that provides care to patients with complex neurological disorders and medical-surgical conditions.
