Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring ventilator support and other advanced therapies.
  • Collaborate with our Critical Care Transport team to transport patients across eastern North Carolina, utilizing our fleet of vehicles and advanced life support equipment.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our team, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
