About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions of care, promoting a culture of safety and respect.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a critical care or PACU setting.
