Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs to provide education and support for individuals struggling with substance abuse
  • Conduct therapeutic community program training and staff development
  • Assist with the establishment of management strategic plans, policies, procedures, and programmatic direction
  • Monitor program staff and related program activities
  • Develop and maintain correctional contract professional relationships
  • Conduct and document clinical team meetings and staff meetings
  • Complete reports as required
  • Monitor programming and services to ensure compliance with program and DASA licensing standards
  • Disseminate internal policies and procedures
  • Monitor tracking and outcome questionnaire data to improve delivery of services
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Substance Abuse Counselor with a Master's degree in a social or human services field and certification in Chemical and Alcohol Dependency. A minimum of two years of experience in a human services field, with a focus on administration or supervision, is required. Five years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Master's degree if the candidate possesses management experience.
