Job Summary:

As a Patient Advocate at Butler Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of patient needs and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and advocacy for patients and their families
  • Assisting registered nurses in direct patient care
  • Ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit
  • Participating in group activities and providing individual support as needed

This position is primarily assigned to cover 1:1 and/or designated acuity shifts on the inpatient units. In the event that there are no 1:1 or designated acuity needs for a given shift, the employee will be reabsorbed into the float pool and assigned to cover other needs in the Hospital.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Benefits:

  • 20/40 Part Time Nights - Every Other Weekend
  • 2% Pay Differential Available to Applicants who maintain an Active CNA License
