Job Summary:

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide patient advocacy and support, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment on our inpatient units.

Working closely with our registered nurses, you will assist with direct patient care, focusing on activities of daily living and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This may involve observing and monitoring patients, interacting with them directly, and providing or assisting with group activities.

This position is primarily assigned to cover 1:1 and/or designated acuity shifts on our inpatient units. In the event that there are no 1:1 or designated acuity needs for a given shift, you will be reabsorbed into the float pool and assigned to cover other needs within the hospital.


Requirements:

We are seeking an individual with a strong educational background in the social sciences, preferably a Bachelor's degree. Alternatively, comparable behavioral health experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients is essential. You must possess excellent written and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


NA Preferred:
2% Pay Differential Available to Applicants who maintain an Active CNA License.

Schedule:

This is a 20/40 part-time evening position, with every other weekend. You will be working on our Lippitt 2 Adult Inpatient Intensive Treatment Unit.
