Job Overview
The primary role involves delivering exceptional customer support to both clients and sales personnel. This position demands adaptability to procedural changes, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in extensive telephone and email communications with clients and sales personnel regarding orders, shipments, and pricing inquiries.
- Oversee designated key accounts.
- Facilitate the entry of new orders and modifications to existing orders.
- Process customer returns, credit requests, and document customer complaints.
- Uphold Order Management standards.
- Maintain a composed and friendly demeanor consistently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expedite order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product applications and functionalities.
- Address customer inquiries effectively.
- Assist with special projects as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Education & Experience
A minimum of two years of experience in customer service or a related field, ideally within a manufacturing context. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with an Associate's degree or equivalent qualifications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with SAP is mandatory.
- Outstanding communication, listening, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Smartsheet is preferred.
Qualifications
Education: High School/GED or equivalent.
