Job Overview

The primary role involves delivering exceptional customer support to both clients and sales personnel. This position demands adaptability to procedural changes, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage in extensive telephone and email communications with clients and sales personnel regarding orders, shipments, and pricing inquiries.
  2. Oversee designated key accounts.
  3. Facilitate the entry of new orders and modifications to existing orders.
  4. Process customer returns, credit requests, and document customer complaints.
  5. Uphold Order Management standards.
  6. Maintain a composed and friendly demeanor consistently.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to expedite order fulfillment.
  8. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product applications and functionalities.
  9. Address customer inquiries effectively.
  10. Assist with special projects as required.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.

Education & Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in customer service or a related field, ideally within a manufacturing context. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with an Associate's degree or equivalent qualifications.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with SAP is mandatory.
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Smartsheet is preferred.

Qualifications

Education: High School/GED or equivalent.

Experience: Relevant experience in customer service.
