About the Job

The Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA) is seeking a skilled Intake and Adoption Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our customer care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all animals receive excellent care from the moment they enter our facility until they find their forever homes or are returned to their owners.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the intake process of all animals into the shelter, including strays, owner surrenders, wildlife, DOA's, and owner-requested euthanasia.
  • Coordinating with animal care staff to ensure that all animals receive excellent care.
  • Providing detailed documentation of animal background forms, wildlife notes, animal and people interactions, intake memos, and any other appropriate documentation into Pet Point records.
  • Collaborating with marketing team to promote adoptable animals through various channels.
