About the Role
This role requires a highly experienced veterinary technician with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for animal welfare. You will work closely with our Director of Shelter Medicine to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure exceptional patient care and staff development. Your expertise will help shape the future of our medical center, and we encourage applicants who share our commitment to excellence and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
• Train and supervise technical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the Director of Shelter Medicine to create and maintain SOPs and training protocols for medical staff and volunteers.
• Oversee the daily tasks and responsibilities of technical staff and ensure timely completion.

Requirements
• College degree or Certified Veterinarian Technician strongly preferred.
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience as a veterinary technician.
• Experience with shelter medicine preferred.
