Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality legal representation to clients in need, with a focus on family preservation and child welfare law.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their rights are protected and their needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, counselors, and healthcare providers, to provide comprehensive support services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility to waive in.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in the areas of family law, child welfare, and poverty law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with low-income families and individuals, as well as experience in advocating for their rights and interests.

The salary for this position ranges from $72,210 to $76,512 annually, based on relevant experience.
