Key Responsibilities:- Support the quality food safety programs by ensuring that master sanitation schedule is implemented.
- Work with quality food safety, operations, maintenance, and other units of the plant to ensure that allergen program is properly managed.
- Help the plant to drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve the Plant KPI.
- Follow the corporate, regulatory and customer requirements to ensure that we create a safe work environment for our team and visitors.
- Manage a crew of union employees and direct, train, develop, and support QFS Associates while also ensuring they have the proper tools and chemical inventory to be successful.
- High School Diploma/GED plus demonstrated Sanitation experience.
- Knowledge of chemical usage and safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to problem-solve, multitask, prioritize assignments, and leadership skills.
- Understanding of general industrial safety requirements.
- Ability to work off shifts and weekends as needed.
- Food industry experience.
