Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at MSH. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients and operations teams with project commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems, data connectivity, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic equipment in our field units, including flow meters, pressure transducers, electric motors, PLCs, data acquisition systems, and data transmission protocols.
  • Establish and conduct preventative maintenance schedules and keep records of them.
  • Familiarize yourself with data transmission protocols, including Modbus and TCP/IP.
  • Stay up to date on new technical trends and advancements.
  • Assist our warehouses with equipment maintenance, repair, calibration, and training when required in the shop.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electronics Technician in the oil and gas industry or a similar industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of electronic principles, circuits, and systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic equipment using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic systems and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites, with estimated field travel at around 60% of the time.
