Job Summary

Municipal Employees Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
  • Sell money orders and travelers checks to members
  • Transfer amounts from member accounts as directed
  • Balance cash drawer and daily transactions
  • Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records
  • Welcome members and provide routine information concerning services and direct members to appropriate departments for specific information and service
  • Cross-sell Credit Union services
  • Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks, including typing, filing, computer input, and answering the telephone

Requirements

  • Provide friendly, professional, and personal service to all customers and associates
  • Balance cash drawer daily
  • Accurately post transactions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner
  • Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the betterment of the customer
  • Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness
  • Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance

Salary

$13.64 to $20.00 per hour
