About the Role

The Health and Wellness Director is a key member of our senior living community team, responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care and service for our residents. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of applicable regulations governing Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and train team members to provide exceptional care and service to residents.
  • Care Service Coordination: Coordinate and monitor all care services, ensuring resident service plans are up-to-date and reflective of each individual resident's needs.
  • Resident Onboarding: Interact with new residents to ensure a smooth transition and provide excellent customer service.
  • Medication Administration: Oversee the medication administration system and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct continuous Quality Assurance reviews to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations governing Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise the Assisted Living Director, Memory Care Director, and Registered Nurse Consultant positions.
  • Shift Coverage: Assist with shift coverage as needed to ensure quality resident care.
  • Resident and Family Concerns: Address resident and family concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Preferably with experience in leadership and management roles.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of applicable regulations governing Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and residents.
  • Language: English language required.
  • Criminal Background Check and Drug Test: Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Administrator's License: If not a licensed Administrator, have the capability and desire to obtain an Administrator's license.
