POSITION SUMMARY

The Andersen Windows 100 series team is in search of a skilled Industrial Engineer with a robust background in manufacturing processes and a strong inclination towards change management and strategic planning.

As a vital member of our innovative team, you will spearhead continuous improvement projects, implement cutting-edge solutions, and contribute to our strategic vision aimed at optimizing operations and enhancing efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Lead initiatives for change management to facilitate organizational transformation and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, particularly within the expanding 100 Series line.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate existing practices, identify inefficiencies, and devise optimization strategies, integrating automation and machinery as needed.

3. Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and drive process enhancements, leveraging your expertise in manufacturing analytics.

4. Oversee and support projects aimed at introducing new technologies, equipment, and methodologies, with a focus on automation solutions.

5. Mentor and guide team members to develop skills and promote a culture of lean innovation and excellence, contributing to Andersen's positive workplace environment.

6. Assess current and future capacity needs by applying marketing forecasts, value stream mapping, and capacity planning techniques.

7. Collaborate with peers across multiple sites producing 100 Series products to share best practices and foster a teamwork-oriented mindset.

8. Ensure sustainable solutions through data analysis, establishing audit protocols, and promoting cross-functional collaboration.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering Technology
• 3-10 years of experience in industrial engineering preferred
• Six Sigma Certification is a plus
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Project management experience with the capability to lead and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, incorporating automation and machinery as necessary.
• Familiarity with change management strategies
