As a Lead Teacher at Primrose School of West Cary, you will cultivate a joyful and secure atmosphere for energetic little ones. Through a thoughtfully designed daily routine filled with purposeful activities, you will help establish a solid foundation for the daycare environment as children explore the classroom, enhance their motor skills, and expand their vocabulary.

  • Collaborate with your co-teacher to execute lesson plans derived from the evidence-based Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Ensure a well-organized classroom that promotes creativity, exploration, and confident decision-making among children.
  • Identify the unique needs of each child as you guide them in discovering the world around them.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must fulfill the basic requirements set by local childcare regulatory agencies.
  • Prior experience in teaching or assisting in an early childhood program or daycare is preferred.
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safe handling of children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • A degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
