Key Responsibilities- Facility Management: Oversee the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring that all areas meet community standards and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Maintenance and Repair: Schedule and monitor preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and efficiency of facility equipment, and perform daily reviews and necessary follow-ups using the TELS (Total Equipment Life Support) system to address maintenance needs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, manage the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) book, and lead the safety/OSHA committee.
- Team Leadership: Lead daily stand-ups for the Facilities team, participate in all community leader stand-ups, and coach, develop, and provide feedback to team members.
- Financial Management: Oversee financials, including the review of vendor and supplies invoices and budget management.
- Vendor Management: Select, manage, and monitor performance of contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and cost efficiency.
- Communication: Review and respond to communications in the Workday inbox promptly, and participate in resident council meetings to address facility-related concerns and gather feedback.
- Education and Experience: Must possess a minimum of two years of related maintenance experience, and formal training in carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, refurbishing, and cleaning is preferred.
- Skills and Qualifications: Ability to problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others, strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team, and knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.
