Job Summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Medication Care Manager to join our team. As a Medication Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, standards, and regulations.
  • Documentation: Accurately document medication administration and resident care in the Daily Log and other required records.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Risk Management: Identify and report potential safety hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on best practices in medication administration and resident care.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in medication administration and resident care preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with seniors and administering medication preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
