About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and creative Activities Assistant to join our team at Wayne Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized activity care and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities to promote socialization and community involvement among residents.
  • Work directly with residents, providing gentle, responsible, and hardworking care.
  • Collaborate with the activities department and interdisciplinary teams to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Utilize basic computer literacy and skills to manage activity programs and resident data.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Prior experience with related software applications
  • Active state driver's license
