{"Job Title": "Activity Coordinator", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a skilled Activity Coordinator to join our team at Regency Integrated Health Services. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the residents' activity program. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm for working with seniors.

Responsibilities:

* Assist the Activity Director in planning and coordinating activities for residents
* Collaborate with the Activity Director to organize events and activities for the facility
* Facilitate individual and group activities based on the needs of residents
* Ensure activities are accessible to residents with varying abilities
* Assist with scheduling beauty parlor and barber activities
* Provide one-on-one activities for residents who are bedfast or unable to participate in group activities
* Assist with generating the facility newsletter
* Participate in community events related to the interest of the facility
* Attend in-services as necessary
* Assist residents to and from activities
* Other duties as assigned by the Activity Director and/or Administrator

Requirements:

* A school diploma or its equivalent is preferred
* A Certified Nurse Aide is preferred
* Previous experience working in activity or recreational department in the long-term care industry or related industry is preferred
