About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Activities Assistant at Wayne Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities for residents, promoting socialization and community involvement.
  • Work directly with residents, providing individualized activity care and services.
  • Collaborate with the activities department and interdisciplinary teams to foster a positive and supportive environment.
  • Develop and implement creative programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior work or life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior experience with related software applications.
  • Basic computer literacy and skills.
  • Active state driver's license.
