Work Schedule

The department operates daily from 5 AM to 7 PM. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, starting on Sunday and concluding on Saturday. Staff members will be required to work two weekends per month and will have one weekend off. Availability during these hours is essential as schedules will be assigned accordingly.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and process a diverse range of food items, accommodating both standard and modified dietary needs.
  • Utilize kitchen equipment, including electrical and mechanical appliances, while adhering to safety protocols. Handle sharp tools and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs independently and up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Set up food service lines and distribute meals onto trays for patrons, ensuring proper portioning and consistency.
  • Maintain a standing position for approximately 80% of the workday, being mindful of potentially slippery surfaces. Proper footwear is required.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and operating dishwashing machines.
  • Assist with vehicle operations and act as a safety spotter when necessary. Duties may include walking and maneuvering food carts.
  • Handle cash register transactions accurately.
