We are seeking an experienced and professional Office Specialist to provide project management and support to ensure the coordination of all business operations within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate project management and coordinate projects and events that require senior staff participation.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents of highly confidential nature.
- Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and performing clerical functions.
- Respond to telephone inquiries and direct callers to appropriate department and/or staff member for input or assistance.
- Follow up to ensure that action has been taken according to operational procedures.
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- Develop and maintain departmental processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with District guidelines.
- Schedule internal and external meetings and create documents and/or obtain detailed information related to the meeting request.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission approved accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in executive-level office management required.
