Job Title: Senior Plant Accountant

Ingredion Incorporated (Corporate) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Plant Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, managing plant accounting operations, and providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage plant accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including plant management, finance, and operations teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in plant accounting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
  • CPA or CMA certification.
  • Experience with SAP or other accounting software.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets and trends.
