Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Plant Accountant to join our team at Ingredion Incorporated (Corporate). As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for executing accounting transactions, developing and analyzing plant performance reports, and participating in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute accounting transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and proper statement.
  • Develop and analyze plant performance reports to provide insights to management.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Perform account reconciliations, audit activities, and business process procedures to ensure internal control policies are followed.
  • Provide product cost estimates and analysis, and review and maintain BOMs and Routings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting concepts and theories.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Inventory experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
