Key Responsibilities- Start up area operations: receive daily assignments, retrieve necessary tools and paperwork, set up machines and SAP as needed.
- Maintain operations: reference job description as assigned, exercise discretion in applying variation of standard methods to the work, and work at a pace above normal with occasional problems keeping up with the work pace.
- Accurately complete all job-specific checks and documentation.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean uniform.
- Complete job-specific clear out duties.
- Must be able to understand recipes, make up production and inspection reports, write requisitions for materials, and understand written instructions.
- Will be called upon to use computers to accomplish tasks such as inputting data into SAP.
- Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) are required.
- Must support and comply with all Nestle programs and policies, including affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) strategies, corporate citizenship initiatives, NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence), TPM (Total Performance Management), GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Safety Policies to ensure employee safety and product quality.
- Must meet all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Occupational Health and Safety.
