Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assembly Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining operations, accurately completing job specific checks and documentation, and performing general housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities- Start up area: receive daily assignment, retrieve necessary tools/paperwork, set up machines and SAP as needed.
- Maintain operations: reference job description as assigned. Worker has some variety in job and is expected to exercise some discretion in applying variation of standard methods to the work. Work pace is generally above normal with occasional problems keeping up with the work pace.
- Accurately complete all job specific checks and documentation.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean uniform.
- Perform job specific clear out duties.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand recipes, make up production and inspection reports, write requisitions for materials, and understand written instructions. Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) are also required.
The successful candidate will also be able to support and comply with all Nestl programs and policies, including affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) strategies, corporate citizenship initiatives, NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence), TPM (Total Performance Management), GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Safety Policies to ensure employee safety and product quality.
The candidate must also meet all requirements related to NQMS (Nestle Quality Management System) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Occupational Health and Safety.
