Job Opportunity:

goHomePort Repairs is in search of Customer Service Representatives who will play a crucial role in fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring they receive outstanding service. This position serves as the initial point of contact for customers visiting our repair facility. Precision is essential, as the Customer Service Representative will act as the intermediary between the customer and the Technician responsible for their RV, including Class A, Class C, camper vans, travel trailers, pop-ups, and fifth wheels. Responsibilities include scheduling service appointments, preparing cost estimates, tracking repair progress, providing customer updates, and ensuring timely service delivery.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will be experienced, diligent, trustworthy, and collaborative. This role requires on-site presence and interaction with various business units, operating with a degree of autonomy and occasionally requiring travel to different locations throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth shop operations by assisting RV Technicians as needed, including moving RVs, managing vendor orders, and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Conduct RV orientations for clients and create detailed service documentation, advising customers and Technicians on maintenance plans.
  • Order necessary inventory for Technicians to ensure timely access to the correct parts.
  • Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling.
  • Deliver and pick up units as required, ensuring quality checks before customer coordination.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to parts orders and inventory management.
  • Organize and stock parts and equipment at repair locations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to manage accounts payable for overdue invoices and open orders.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and uphold compliance with regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and educational programs as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or General Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of mechanical, technical, or automotive experience; prior experience in the RV industry is preferred, though training is available for suitable candidates.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and flexibility in response to varying workloads.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Successful completion of background screening prior to employment; commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this exempt position ranges from $40,000 to $50,000, based on experience, plus monthly commissions. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid holidays, PTO, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
