About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RV Technician to join our team at Blue Compass RV Longmont. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance work on RV units to ensure they are in excellent condition for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, automotive, carpentry, HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing issues on RV units.
  • Document all diagnostic tests, repairs, and maintenance work in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Provide labor time estimates to service advisors and plan workdays for maximum efficiency.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Test and verify repairs made to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisors regularly.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Knowledge in trade fields such as automotive, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, maintenance, and mechanical.
  • Certification from a college or technical school in a trade field or equivalent work experience.
  • RVTI certification is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year maintenance or mechanical experience is preferred.
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
