Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Manager at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Manager to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Neonatal ICU, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the Neonatal ICU on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor attendance and provide counseling as needed.
- Manage payroll and oversee ordering and management of supplies.
- Participate in yearly inventory process and reviews and approves PTO/Vacation requests.
- Makes dayshift schedule and oversees and approves nightshift self-scheduling.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Cordinates the timely completion of yearly evaluations of staff nurses, techs, and secretarial staff.
- At least 5 years experience as a staff nurse in a Neonatal Nursery and 2 years experience as a charge nurse or ANM.
- RNC Certification preferred STABLE Certification preferred Basic Cardiac Life Support Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date Registered Nurse Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree preferred
