You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients. Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess and improve the quality of patient care. Assumes responsibility of charging the unit, as needed. Responsible for assessment of patient with telemetry monitoring. Maintains a customer-friendly atmosphere. Models and reinforces behavior consistent with goals for teaching the patient, communicates patient status to appropriate member of the healthcare team, and provides support to the family, as needed.
Requirements- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
- BSN is required
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
