Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN Opportunity with HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, you will play a vital role in performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will work with various Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records.
- Rotate through the hot lab area and perform tasks as needed.
- Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
- Perform related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, and taking emergency after-hours calls on a rotating basis.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an AMA-accredited nuclear school of medicine or an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- A current license with the State of Texas (TMB license).
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB licensure.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
