About the Position
HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Post Surgical to join our healthcare team. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
Job Summary
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver patient-centered care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- You will collaborate with subject matter experts and other leaders to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service excellence.
- You will function as a resource person for staff members, providing coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- You will represent the organization positively within the community, participating in company-supported events and in-services.
- You will assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- You will support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting is required.
- A graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is mandatory.
- A BSN degree is necessary.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License is required.
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association) is essential.
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association) is required within 6 months of hire.
