Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Relationship Manager to join our team at Stellar Industrial Supply. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers in the NE Maryland/SE Pennsylvania area.

Your primary focus will be on growing business, sales, and related services to our customers, while providing exceptional customer service and support. You will work closely with our Specialists, supplier representatives, and customer experience teams to offer new and existing customers a wide variety of solutions designed to improve their bottom line.

This is a great opportunity for a sales-minded professional who has a desire or interest in working with industrial tools. If you are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring high customer retention and satisfaction
  • Establish and implement sales growth plans for each customer and location
  • Gain a consistent understanding of our Value Proposition and execute it
  • Look for ways to provide value to our customers, documenting cost savings and reporting back to the customer
  • Partner with local supplier representatives and Specialists to create value and improved efficiencies for all customers
  • Develop a pipeline of customer prospects through networking, referrals, research, and cold calling, utilizing our CRM (Salesforce)
  • Plan, organize, and schedule territory development
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Mastery of Stellar systems and tools
  • Strive to constantly improve
Qualifications
  • Passion for helping people solve dynamic problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret complex information
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to listen effectively and interpret customer needs
  • Ability to prioritize workload and be detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel overnight, specifically for training and sales meetings
Experience
  • 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing industry
  • Strong mechanical or technical aptitude is a plus
Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
