Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the solicitation of new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients across various sectors, including food service, processing, and hospitality.
- Continuously communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction with services and identify any additional needs.
- Conduct meetings with previously canceled accounts to understand the reasons for discontinuation and attempt to re-establish the relationship.
- Schedule appointments and conduct outreach in targeted areas as directed by management.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills with clients and all levels of company personnel.
- Interact with city and county inspectors regarding compliance with relevant regulations.
- Spend 75-90% of the workday in the field visiting clients.
- Prepare and maintain customer setup documentation and assist in entering new client data into the routing system.
- Provide daily updates to management regarding client interactions and service delivery.
- Follow up on service stops to investigate reasons for non-pickup and determine if re-routing is necessary.
- Maintain professional and ethical interactions with all stakeholders.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, which are crucial for operational efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the effective functioning of the business.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the food service or restaurant industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel locally up to 90% of the time.

Frequent Activities:
- Travel to client locations and navigate through various facilities.
- Lift and move materials or documents weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Utilize office equipment such as computers, calculators, and printers.
- Review and organize data while ensuring accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in person, over the phone, and via email.
