2 Months Contract with potential for extension or permanent conversion
$22-25/hr.
Job Description
The Payroll Assistant will manage timesheets and attendance records for accuracy and completeness. You will send corresponding request forms to the division for all separation inquiries and support the Payroll Specialist in obtaining completed separation documents. You will calculate payroll adjustments, such as overtime, bonuses, and deductions, with guidance and direction. Additionally, you will prepare and calculate commissions to review with the Payroll Specialist before upload. Assisting with preparing payroll reports and statements, you will respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve payroll issues promptly and professionally. You will reconcile payroll discrepancies and work closely with the Payroll Specialist to address any payroll-related matters. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the security of payroll and employee data is crucial. You will also backup the payroll processor, ensuring hourly, salary, and commission-based compensation is paid out accurately.

This is a fully on-site position in Grandview, Washington.
