Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, the Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and presentation of all food and beverages served in our hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Food and Beverage Operations: Direct the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the main restaurant, banquets, and room service.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests, while also ensuring that they are profitable and aligned with our brand standards.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of all food, beverages, and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our guests.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages served in our hotel meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Cost Control: Manage the food and beverage budget to ensure that we are operating within our financial targets.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all food and beverage operations are conducted in a safe and sanitary manner, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of staff. Excellent culinary skills, with the ability to develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and guests.
