Company Overview:
Satellite Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facilities Operations Manager to oversee our maintenance and operational efforts. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt role.

Position Summary:
The Facilities Operations Manager is tasked with managing all facets of the facilities maintenance team, including the Recurring Work Program (RWP) and service requests for maintenance across various utility systems, fuel facilities, power generation, fire suppression systems, and airfield lighting.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of products and services, monitoring actual expenses against estimates throughout project execution, and preparing relevant documentation.
2. Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop estimates and address any arising issues.
3. Generate estimates for vendor selection and management planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
4. Conduct site assessments to gather information on access, drainage, topography, and service availability.
5. Supervise warehouse operations and work reception.
6. Manage personnel-related tasks, including scheduling, employee engagement, performance evaluations, and incident reporting.
7. Lead safety meetings and maintain documentation of attendance and safety practices.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the proper display of safety materials.
9. Update safety manuals and confirm adherence to safe work practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
10. Provide training and maintain accurate records of completion.

Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of 10 years in construction, maintenance, and facility operations, with at least 6 years in a management role. Experience with utility systems is highly preferred.

Skills:
Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to adapt to changing work environments are essential. A strong customer service orientation is also required.

Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. A valid driver's license is necessary.

Physical Requirements:
This role involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, reaching, and climbing.

Work Hours:
This is a full-time position, requiring availability for extended hours and weekends, with a commitment to 24/7 availability.

Essential Personnel:
This position is classified as essential, meaning that during emergencies, the individual may be required to remain on-site or report to work to ensure the continuity of operations.
