Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Food Service Attendant to join our team at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA. As a key member of our dietary department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality food service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Food Service Supervisor, perform essential duties associated with the nutritional care and food service to all patients.
  • Receive patient/caregiver telephone calls for food orders and diet order communication, and accurately input all orders into a computer.
  • Assist with the delivery of meals to patients, and support tray line activities.
  • Accurately and efficiently process diet orders placed by caregivers through EPIC.
  • Effectively communicate to patients and caregivers and demonstrate excellent public relations interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
  • Coursework/Training and Nutrition or Hospitality
  • 1 year of experience in a food service operation
  • 2 years of Progressive experience in a large scale food service operation or hospital
