Job Title: Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at IHOP. As a Dishroom Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, and sanitize all dishes, glasses, cups, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.
  • Follow dish machine and/or sink procedures for IHOP SOP.
  • Perform all cleaning duties according to SOP.
  • Dispose of trash properly.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
  • Stock and rotate all needed supplies in the kitchen, prep, and expo areas.
  • Prepare, plate, and package food according to specifications set forth in the SOP IHOP training and manuals.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as with the IHOP Safety Manual and SOP health, sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Comply with IHOP uniform and appearance standards per SOP guidelines.
  • Unload, unbox, rotate, and store food, equipment, and supplies, as necessary.
  • Identify food that was prepared incorrectly and remedy the problem before it is delivered to the guest.
  • Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or acting supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must have minimal work experience as a dishwasher.
  • Must know and follow all food safety procedures.
  • Must carry at least a high school diploma or an equivalent.
  • Must have communication skills.
  • Must maintain an active WA food handler permit.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks.
