About the Role

This is a remote position. Due to certain restrictions, we are unable to offer employment in the following states: CO, NY, PA, HI, MA, and OH.

As a Service Engineer, you will work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS, and clinical caregivers.

Your technical skills will be on par with your Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and operate large-scale, computer-based services
  • Work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers
  • Grow and improve services to meet Quality of Service Expectations
  • Influence software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture
  • Lead and represent the Service in backlog discussions and standups

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience
  • 5 years related experience; more preferred
  • Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes
  • Experience with n-tier solutions
  • Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment
