Senior Project Engineer

At Diamond Peak Recruiting, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of mechanical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Oversee and coordinate engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design through to completion.
  • Engineering Planning: Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, assess risks, and resolve engineering-related issues.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients and stakeholders to communicate project updates and address concerns.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Procurement: Support the procurement process by evaluating vendor proposals and ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in mechanical contracting or related industries.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
