Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations, providing technical oversight and guidance to junior staff.
  • Supervise field exploration programs and interpret geotechnical data from boring layouts, utility clearances, and laboratory tests.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers and project managers, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.
  • Promote company values, positive culture, and high employee engagement, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations, with a focus on ensuring compliance and quality delivery.
  • Business development experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and development.
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar, with a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
