Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Consultant to join our team at OEC Group, a leading freight forwarder in the transportation industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in identifying the needs of prospective clients and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute full sales lifecycle processes, including prospecting, discovery conversations, and informative meetings.
  • Establish a book of business through networking and cold calling.
  • Present OEC Group's service offerings, including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
  • Meet monthly revenue quotas and collaborate with CRM Specialists to create sales presence in local markets.
  • Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
  • Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a freight forwarding role.
  • Previous experience directly selling ocean and/or air services is preferred.
  • Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, team player, problem solver, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

  • Competitive annual base salary of $45,000 - $60,000, plus uncapped sales commission.
  • Monthly car allowance, relocation, and travel opportunities for top performers.
