Hematology Oncology Outpatient Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hematology Oncology Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to adults facing blood cancer and hematologic disorders in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with blood cancer and hematologic disorders
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per healthcare policy
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Provider and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certifications preferred
