Job Summary

Auberge Resorts is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at our flagship location in Napa Valley. As a key player in our vibrant establishment, you will be responsible for crafting memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional beverage service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests in beverage and drink preparation, ensuring efficient and timely service in the bar area and restaurant.
  • Relate with guests to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service and ensuring a consistently high-quality experience.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our drink offerings, including cocktails, spirits, and wine, to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Comply with industry standards and company policies in the bar and restaurant outlets.
  • Contribute to improving F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about drinks, specials, and prices.
  • Accurately and quickly take and place orders, inputting them into the Micros system to ensure correct timing and billing.
  • Prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment or signature as required.
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean all bar equipment and fittings.
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times.
  • Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, with experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Superior professional appearance and manner, with good character to work in a fast-paced team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
