As a Food Expediter at Auberge du Soleil, you will be instrumental in enhancing our guests' dining experience.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless and timely delivery of exquisite culinary creations from the kitchen to the dining area, guaranteeing that every guest enjoys an exceptional meal.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate effective communication between the kitchen staff and the service team by accurately relaying orders and checking on the status of dishes.
2. Ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly, prioritizing tasks as necessary.
3. Add final touches to dishes, including garnishing and presentation enhancements.
4. Assist servers and bartenders in providing an outstanding dining experience by taking and delivering orders efficiently.
5. Engage with guests to assess their satisfaction with food and beverages, ensuring a consistently high level of service.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all restaurant equipment and work areas.
7. Keep the expediting station and dining areas well-stocked and orderly at all times.
8. Adhere to food safety standards, ensuring that all dishes are served at the appropriate temperatures.
9. Check in with guests after delivering their meals to ensure they have everything they need.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $30 - $35 per hour, which includes both the hourly wage and tips, based on business performance.
