Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Division Director of Client and Clinical Services to join our team at Larkin Street Youth Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing our client services and practice model, implementing strategic plan initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care Standards: Ensure that Larkin Street's client care standards are codified, understood, and implemented agency-wide, with primary responsibility for Larkin Street's wellness and case management practices.
  • Strategic Plan Implementation: Lead staff teams through the successful implementation of Larkin Street's strategic priorities, ensuring services and decision-making are aligned with the strategic plan.
  • Program Evaluation and Development: Work with Program Director team to oversee the evaluation, development, and implementation of programs; ensure effective coordinated service delivery; grant and contract compliance; and fiscal responsibility.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Develop and sustain partnerships, including Larkin Street's participation in the Transitional Age Youth System of Care (TAY SOC).
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to clinicians and interns.
  • Grant Management: Manage Larkin Street's Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) SAMSHA grant and facilitate MHFA training.
  • Performance Standards: Develop and monitor performance standards in collaboration with the Division Director team to inform and lead continuous quality improvement.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Participate in agency-wide Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts.
  • Youth Involvement: Ensure that youth are involved in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • On-Call Consultant: Oversee and participate in Larkin Street's On Call Consultant schedule.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Hold a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Experience: Have some experience working with Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), aged 18 to 25 of diverse backgrounds, similar to the client base at Larkin Street Youth Services.
  • Skills: Be a self-starter and team player, with colleagues describing you as patient, compassionate, and organized.
  • Availability: Be available for an on-call consultant rotation every 6 to 8 weeks and willing to work holidays occasionally.
  • Travel: Be able to travel independently throughout the Bay Area (primarily San Francisco) to visit various program sites and partner agencies.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Be vaccinated against COVID-19.
