Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Event Planning Specialist to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with the comprehensive planning, organization, and execution of a variety of events, such as conferences, workshops, corporate gatherings, and social functions. You will collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee the successful realization of events that align with our clients' objectives. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding organizational abilities, effective communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Compensation:

$1100 - $1350 weekly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate all facets of events, from initial concept to final execution.
  • Research and identify appropriate venues and service providers.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with venues, caterers, and other essential partners.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Coordinate logistical elements, including venue arrangements, audiovisual needs, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Create and distribute event invitations, promotional materials, and marketing collateral.
  • Manage event registrations and maintain communication with participants before, during, and after events.
  • Engage with speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors to fulfill their requirements.
  • Supervise on-site event activities and address any challenges that may arise.
  • Conduct evaluations post-event and analyze feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Event Coordinator or in a comparable position.
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with best practices in event planning and current industry trends.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as dictated by event schedules.
